State and Local Coalitions
Through the Business Coalition Network for Education and Workforce Development, the BCER
works with over 1300 state and local business coalitions committed to improving
student achievement. If your organization meets the following criteria, you are eligible to become a member of this dynamic network:
- Has strong business leadership in its activities and/or Board of Directors and
- Has committed to one or more of the following objectives:
- Raising academic standards for all students;
- Ensuring that academic standards reflect the skill needed for personal
development and career success in a changing economy;
- Publicizing the critical need for world-class academic standards and the
changes school systems must make to achieve them.
Benefits of membership include:
- A free copy of all BCER publications.
- Information on other state and local coalitions.
- Technical assistance from BCER staff.
- National exposure for your efforts.
